  • Wavewalking Socks came about when I wanted to knit a simple cabled sock that would show up well in a hand dyed variegated yarn. Being a boat-dweller, the pattern reminded me that I am always walking on waves! Choose your own favourite hand dyed yarn and clothe your feet in cosy colours :-) The socks knit up quickly with the interest of the eyelet cable to keep you going. You can choose whether to have a plain cuff or make a feature of the eyelet ribbing. And the best thing is, the pattern is written toe up and top down, so you can make these no matter what your preferred method is!
  • Narrow Escape is a deceptively simple design that is easy to wear and fun to knit. The asymmetric wedges are perfect for playing with multiple colours or gradient sets and create a lot of visual interest in the finished item. They are created by working short rows and the clean, modern look is finished off with an i-cord bind off. Yarn needs will vary depending on how many colours you choose. A simple 2 colour version will take less than 100g of each colour, in 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.
  • This snuggly round blanket is worked with a reversible cable design so there is no right and wrong side. On one side the cables “pop” and the other side has a pleasing rippled effect.
  • A set of 16 removable, locking bulb pin stitch markers, which fit up to a 7mm needle. Each set is made up of 4 different metal colours, so you can easily distinguish between different sections in your knitting / crochet project. They come in their own little screw top aluminium tin so they don't get lost in the bottom of your knitting kit! We've already discovered the tin is also useful for storing beads and other small items ... :-)

  • Fibre Content: 100% Jacob wool
    Specification: 4 Ply / Fingering weight - 175m / 50g
    Fibre: Sourced from Worcestershire, UK
Processing: Spun in Ceridigion, Wales, dyed in the UK
Recommended needle & hook size: 2.5mm - 3.75mm (always check the pattern)
    Description:
This is a light and airy woollen-spun and plied yarn from a single farm in Worcestershire. Jacob sheep are one of the oldest native breeds in the UK. They are striking in their appearance, with white and brown fleeces and multiple horns! We sorted the fleeces by hand, separating the white from the brown. We have natural and dyed shades available. The wool is hardwearing and makes lightweight, warm garments that soften beautifully with age. Use it for hats, mittens, jumpers, and house socks and slippers. The yarn is made up of 2 plies, which lends itself well to lace patterns and stranded colourwork. This yarn hasn’t been superwash-treated, so it will felt if you want it to. This also makes it an excellent candidate for steeking, if you’re brave enough!
