    Description:
This is a light and airy woollen-spun and plied yarn from a single farm in Worcestershire. Jacob sheep are one of the oldest native breeds in the UK. They are striking in their appearance, with white and brown fleeces and multiple horns! We sorted the fleeces by hand, separating the white from the brown. We have natural and dyed shades available. The wool is hardwearing and makes lightweight, warm garments that soften beautifully with age. Use it for hats, mittens, jumpers, and house socks and slippers. The yarn is made up of 2 plies, which lends itself well to lace patterns and stranded colourwork. This yarn hasn’t been superwash-treated, so it will felt if you want it to. This also makes it an excellent candidate for steeking, if you’re brave enough!

  • A set of 20 removable, locking bulb pin stitch markers, which fit up to a 7mm needle. Each set is made up of 10 different bright colours, so you can easily distinguish between different sections in your knitting / crochet project. You can use them on your knitting needles as snag free stitch markers, unlock them to use as progress keepers, or even as stitch holders for a small number of stitches. They come in their own little screw top aluminium tin so they don't get lost in the bottom of your knitting kit! We've already discovered the tin is also useful for storing beads and other small items ... :-)

  • Hand dyed yarn: semi-solid 100% British Wensleydale: this wool has amazing lustre and a soft halo, perfect for lacy and lightweight garments 100g 4 Ply (350m) Comes from smoke and pet-free environment. Skeins are not perfectly identical, if using more than one, consider alternating every few rows. Hand wash recommended, colours may run.
  • Narrow Escape is a deceptively simple design that is easy to wear and fun to knit. The asymmetric wedges are perfect for playing with multiple colours or gradient sets and create a lot of visual interest in the finished item. They are created by working short rows and the clean, modern look is finished off with an i-cord bind off. Yarn needs will vary depending on how many colours you choose. A simple 2 colour version will take less than 100g of each colour, in 4 ply / fingering weight yarn.
